On 15 March, the National Science Centre announced the OPUS 27 and PRELUDIUM 23 competitions. In these open competitions, scientists can apply for grants for basic research projects in all fields of science.

The OPUS 27 competition for research projects is intended for scientists at all stages of their scientific careers, while the PRELUDIUM 23 competition is aimed at researchers without a doctoral degree. The total budget is PLN 490 million. Applications can be submitted until 17 June.
