Rector of the Jagiellonian University announces a competition for the position of assistant professor in the research staff group, within the framework of the NCN Sonata Bis project 'Hierarchical perception of scenes and objects' at the Brain Research Centre of the Jagiellonian University.
Eligibility criteria:
The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements set out in Articles 113, 116(2)(3) of the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science and, in accordance with § 165 of the Statutes of the Jagiellonian University, meet the following eligibility criteria:
have at least a doctoral degree;
have relevant scientific achievements;
take an active part in scientific life.
Additional requirements and expectations:
First-author publications in international, peer-reviewed journals.
Publication-proven experience in visual perception research, especially research on scene and object perception.

The project aims to investigate the perceptual and neural mechanisms of scene and object perception.
