CFA: 4th European Experimental Philosophy Conference

We are excited to announce the 4th European Experimental Philosophy Conference taking place from 30th of May to 2nd of June, 2024 at the Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland. The conference will be an in-person event.

The conference is going to gather experts in all areas of experimental philosophy. We particularly encourage contributions exploring experimental philosophy of law, experimental ethics, experimental philosophy of language, and experimental political philosophy. There will be opportunities for presentations in both talk and poster sessions.

Call for Abstracts: The conference invites submissions in all areas of experimental philosophy. Submissions related to experimental philosophy of law, experimental ethics, experimental philosophy of language, and experimental political philosophy are especially encouraged. There will be opportunities for presentations in both talk and poster sessions. To submit an abstract (up to 500 words) for anonymous review, visit https://openreview.net/group?id=EXPhi/2024/Conference. The deadline for submissions is January 31st, 2024, with decisions communicated on February 29th.

The conference will start with a poster session / reception in the evening on the 30th of May and finish in the early afternoon on the 2nd of June. We’ll also host a pre-conference workshop “LLMs for xPhi” on the 30th of May.

Organizers: The conference is co-organized by the Jagiellonian Centre for Law, Language and Philosophy (https://pjf.uj.edu.pl) and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Ethics (https://incet.uj.edu.pl), in cooperation with ​​the Chair of Legal Theory at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Institute of Psychology, and Future Law Lab at Jagiellonian University, the European Experimental Philosophy Association, and local XPhi groups in Europe.
