Founder and editor-in-chief of the philosophical and aesthetic quarterly „The Polish Journal of Aesthetics”. Co-author of „Słownik pojęć filozoficznych Romana Ingardena” (2001).

Education

  • Graduate of Technikum Żeglugi Śródlądowej in Koźle (1970-75),
  • Employee of Huta Katowice i Kopalni Węgla Kamiennego „Manifest Lipcowy” (1975-76),
  • Degree in Philosophy at the Jagiellonian University (1976-83),
  • Degree in Polish Philology, Jagiellonian University (1978-80).

Professional and scientific degrees

Master's Degree in Philosophy in 1983; Doctoral Dissertation Defense and Doctoral Degree in 1993; Doctor of Philosophy Degree (postdoctoral degree) in 2007 and the title of Professor of Humanities in 2013.
