Religious expert and scholar, historian of religions, professor at the Jagiellonian University, director of the Institute of Religious Studies since 2020, member of the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Religions in Poland. She specializes in the study of Christianity of various traditions, including the Orthodox Churches and Polish Catholicism. In recent years, she has been conducting research related to the history of the LASKI "Society for the Care of the Blind", implementing the NPRH grant „Środowisko Lasek (1911-1989) we wspomnieniach i dokumentach osobistych”.

Prof. Przemysław Bąbel, PhD, is a full professor of psychology and the vice-dean for research at the Faculty of Philosophy at Jagiellonian University. He is also the chair of Jagiellonian University Research Discipline Council for Psychology and the head of the Pain Research Group at Jagiellonian University. From 2020 to 2024 he served as the director of the Institute of Psychology at Jagiellonian University, and prior to that, from 2016 to 2020, he was the vice director for general affairs. He is the president of the Polish Society of Behavioral Psychology, a member of the Steering Committee of the Society for Interdisciplinary Placebo Studies and a member of the Committee on Psychological Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Member of the Department of Practical Ethics and the History of Ethics at the Institute of Philosophy, Jagiellonian University. Her research focuses on the history of ethics and practical ethics, with a particular emphasis in recent years on ethical issues in biomedicine and scientific research. She has been a long-time member of committees reviewing both biomedical and social research projects.
